HINSDALE, Ill. - Hope Academy closed out its trip to the Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic with a 61-56 win over Perspectives MSA.

Perspectives (4-8) led 13-12 after one quarter, but Hope (7-6) opened the quarter on a 9-2 run to grab a 21-15 lead. The Eagles led 28-26 at the half.

Hope built an eight-point lead early in the third, but a 9-0 run from Perspectives put the Wolves in front 35-34. The wolves led 41-40 with 1:23 left in the quarter, but Hope closed on an 8-1 run to lead 48-42 entering the fourth quarter.

Perspectives closed to within two points with two minutes to play, but six straight points from Hope, including four from Journey Fleming helped seal the win for the Eagles.

Jordan Doss came off the bench to lead Hope, scoring 16 points while shooting 6-of-10. Jeremy Davis added 12 points while Dexter Spencer scored 10. The Eagles forced Perspectives into 23 turnovers, converting the mistakes into 18 points.

Jaquan Lawrence led Perspectives in the loss, totaling 17 points and 11 rebounds to finish with a double-double. Marquan Williams added 12 points, and eight rebounds while Anthony Holiday scored 11.
