HINSDALE, Ill. – Dshaun Bolden and Mason Lockett combined to score 32 points while leading Oswego East to a 61-28 victory over St. Charles East in the opening round of the 2025 Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic. St. Charles East (1-9) scored the first five points of the game, but Oswego East (9-2) outscored the Saints 16-5 for the remainder of the quarter. Oswego East pushed their lead up to 33-17 at the half before leading by as many as 34 points and cruising to the victory. Oswego East shot 54.8 percent (23-of-42) from the floor and outrebounded St. Charles East 30-25. Bolden scored 17 points while shooting 7-of-11 from the floor. Lockett added 15 points and six rebounds while shooting 6-of-12. Jacsen Tucker added 14 points in the victory. St. Charles East was led by Gavin Belli's six points. Oswego East will take on the winner of the Waubonsie Valley/Morgan Park contest in tomorrow's quarterfinal at 8:30 p.m. St. Charles East will face the loser of the Waubonsie Valley/Morgan Park game in tomorrow's consolation bracket at 2:00 p.m. |
