HINSDALE, Ill. – Lane Tech's red-hot shooting in the first half put the game away early as the Champions blew past Morton 63-30 in Thursday's final consolation contest at the 2023 Hinsdale Central Holiday Classic.

Lane Tech (9-6 record) came out blazing with five three-pointers in the first quarter and ran away from the Mustangs for a 21-4 lead. Five different Lane Tech players had at least six points in the half. Zach Mazanowski was the early leader with eight points and five rebounds. The Champions also racked up 11 assists on 15 baskets.
