HINSDALE, Ill. – Hinsdale Central closed out its appearance at its own 2019 Holiday Classic by defeating Glenbrook North 64-39 in a consolation game.

Hinsdale Central (4-7) scored the first four points of the game and Red Devils never looked back, leading from wire-to-wire in the contest. Hinsdale Central built an 18-9 lead after one quarter and then moved in front 33-21 at the half. The Red Devils continued to pull away in the second half, outscoring Glenbrook North (4-11) 14-3 in the third quarter. The Red Devils led by as many as 28 points before cruising to the 25-point win.

Hinsdale Central shot 66.7 percent (24-of-36) from the floor, including 58.3 percent (7-of-12) from downtown. The Red Devils outscored Glenbrook 30-14 in the paint and outrebounded the Spartans 31-20. Ryan Isaacson led the way for the Red Devils with 13 points in just 15 minutes of action. Connor Nelson added nine points while Charlie Sessa came off the bench to score seven.

Glenbrook North shot 31.3 percent (15-of-48) from the field in the loss. Nick Pavlovic led the way in the loss with 10 points.
